Vaal Mall Access Arrangements
The main access of Rossini Boulevard to the Vaal
Mall realized the fact that the synchronization between Traffic
Lights at the intersections with Helena Lochner Street, Barrage
Road and Langenhoven Street could not be obtained via the
technical team responsible for that by the Vaal Mall.
This caused huge traffic delays and congestion during the
peak our periods and trips were diverted to Frikkie Meyer
Blvd and other roads due to this.
Council then decided to close down the median break to this
access and restrict it to left in and left out until the Mall
can proof that they will be able to get synchronization between
the Traffic Lights.
Ultimately the remaining access point of Rossini Blvd at
Helena Lochner Street will have to be altered to accommodate
the traffic movement into the facility.
