“On behalf of the leadership collective of the Emfuleni Local Municipality, we seize this opportunity to extend our best wishes to all learners especially the matriculants who are sitting for the final year examinations.

As we do so, we recognize and extol the dedication, discipline and hard work you have invested through the past twelve (12) months by preparing in earnest and zeal for this first group to be groomed under the Outcomes Based Education (OBE).

We invite you to apply for bursaries offered by the Municipality to create opportunities for access to institutions of higher learning. As a generation for the future of this country, challenges at hand dictate that you play a meaningful role in building an economy that is responsive to the needs of people and a society that cares based on the values of Ubuntu.

This is part of our program as a government that is a custodian of the aspirations of its people, hence our motto, “You belong-We Care”.
