19 April 2010 - As part of the Emfuleni Local Municipality’s efforts to fast track service delivery and promote the Batho-pele principle, the Municipality’s Finance department will be embarking on an outreach program to help the consumers with their account queries. This initiative is part of the 90 days 90 Days Program of Action which is located squarely within our Turnaround Strategy from the Executive Mayor Cllr Assistance Mshudulu’s office.

Cllr SA Mshudulu 25 March 2010 - Following your media enquiry regarding the purchase of a new vehicle for the executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Cllr Assistance Mshudulu, the ELM wishes to state that a Council report was served on the age and mechanical status of the existing Mayoral car. Council approved the replacement of the Mayoral car subject to compliance with approved guidelines.

We confirm that the Mayoral car remains the Council property and not transferable to the Mayor as personal property.
