The role of the budget office is to translate the municipality’s strategic plan into financial information summarized in a budget. This is done by matching realistically anticipated revenues with anticipated expenditure.

As department we assist the municipality to conform with chapter 4 of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) thus meeting its compliance requirements.
